Stu proposed to me in June 2010 and we booked our wedding for the 1st October 2011, so I was on the hunt immediately for my perfect dress. I bought lots of magazines and found myself being drawn to the Paloma Blanca styles. I emailed Claire to see if she had a certain dress in stock, and she had so I went to try it on. Although, I didn’t end up getting that dress, or the next dress, I found my perfect dress on try number three, It was absolutely stunning. I absolutely loved the whole experience of finding my dress, trying it on, having fittings, taking it home and finally wearing it on my special day. Having a wedding abroad was never going to be easy, but I was so lucky that the one thing I never had to worry about was my wedding dress. From picking it out, to my final fitting, weighing it and packing it for me in a box to take to South Africa, ClaireLouise have been amazing. Gemma from Bolton A message from Gemma: "I had been with Chris for about 7 years before he proposed in Venice-after plenty of encouragement!We had heard about Claire Louise from some friends of mine and it was definitely somewhere we wanted to go when I got engaged. I arrived on a Friday afternoon with my mum and sister (my chief bridesmaid) and Claire greeted us with a huge smile! Our previous wedding dress shopping experience had resulted in me declaring I would go down the aisle in a bin bag as "wedding dresses just don't suit me"! Claire left us with tags to put on our favourite dresses and despite my reluctance,we were soon asking for more tags as I loved so many styles in the shop! We were then led to the changing rooms which was lovely. It made us feel so special that we were the only people in the shop and all of Claire's attention was on us! The changing room was huge and I felt so comfortable saying which dresses I thought looked nice and which didn't. We finally narrowed the 30 dresses to 2 and I left the shop feeling I had definitely found the one! I loved that there was no pressure and I was given time to really think about the dresses. After a sleepless night,me and my mum!- I went back to try my two favourite dresses on again. I finally decided on a Paloma Blanca and we celebrated with a glass of champagne! Claire even indulged me by letting me go for another appointment before my dress arrived to try on the sample when I had doubts! I have recommended Claire Louise to every friend who's got engaged after me and I definitely have a couple who have found their perfect dress. I absolutely loved the experience of going to and buying my dress from Claire Louise. Gem xxx It is every Mother's dream to see their daughter in a Wedding dress and I couldn't wait. We expected many days of trying on dresses in many different shops,but after going through the door of Claire Louise we knew this was perfect. Claire and Judith were fantastic.
